Sergio de Miguel<\/strong> es un pianista y compositor espa\u00f1ol originario de Vigo, Galicia, actualmente radicado en Los \u00c1ngeles. Fusiona sus ra\u00edces gallegas y espa\u00f1olas con elementos del jazz, el flamenco, la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica y contempor\u00e1nea, as\u00ed como influencias de la m\u00fasica del mundo. Cree que las melod\u00edas poseen una poderosa capacidad narrativa, capaz de expresar emociones que las palabras no pueden, un principio que procura incorporar en su m\u00fasica, dot\u00e1ndola de una profundidad emocional y una riqueza cultural distintivas.<\/p>

Es ganador de reconocimientos internacionales, entre ellos el ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award (2024), m\u00faltiples premios de la revista Downbeat (Mejor Peque\u00f1o Combo de Jazz en 2022 y 2023), el Yamaha Young Performing Artist Award (2022) y distinciones de Berklee College of Music, incluyendo el Piano Department Chair Award (2022) y el Jazz Performance Award (2021). Sergio has appeared at renowned stages<\/strong> such as the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas (23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards), the Wang Theater and Agganis Arena in Boston, the Emmens Auditorium in Indianapolis, and the Latin Recording Academy in Miami. He has also performed in respected jazz venues<\/strong> including Jamboree Jazz Club (Barcelona, SP), Clarence Jazz Club (Torremolinos, SP), and Wally\u2019s Caf\u00e9 (Boston, MA), as well as festivals like Munijazz (La Rioja, ES), CanJazz, and Nigr\u00e1nJazz. He has arranged and recorded for projects across the United States and Europe, including his role as arranger and pianist in De magia imperfecta<\/em> by Nicolle Horbath, a work nominated for a Latin GRAMMY.<\/p>\n

Sergio se gradu\u00f3 del Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) con una doble titulaci\u00f3n en Interpretaci\u00f3n de Piano y Composici\u00f3n para Cine, gracias a la beca completa \u201cProdigy\u201d otorgada por la Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation. En mayo de 2025 complet\u00f3 su Maestr\u00eda en Composici\u00f3n Musical para Pantalla (Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen) en Columbia College Chicago. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha compuesto la m\u00fasica de varios cortometrajes y busca ampliar su experiencia sumergi\u00e9ndose en la industria de Hollywood y colaborando con profesionales talentosos para seguir creciendo como compositor. Inici\u00f3 su carrera profesional trabajando con el equipo musical de Michael Abels y ha estudiado con reconocidos artistas como Kenny Barron, Aaron Parks, Fred Hersch y Billy Childs.<\/p>\n

En abril de 2023, Sergio lanz\u00f3 su \u00e1lbum debut Atl\u00e1ntida, un proyecto que fusiona la m\u00fasica tradicional gallega con el flamenco, el jazz, la m\u00fasica del mundo y elementos de la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica y contempor\u00e1nea. Una de las principales caracter\u00edsticas del \u00e1lbum es su diversidad cultural, al contar con m\u00fasicos de Espa\u00f1a, Estados Unidos, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Bulgaria, Colombia, Jap\u00f3n, Cuba y Brasil, quienes aportan su esencia \u00fanica para crear un sonido distintivo y multicultural.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
